Optimisation of energy consumption for local authorities
The energy transition represents a crucial challenge for Public Administrations, which are required to improve the energy efficiency of their assets, reduce consumption, enhance available resources and activate new forms of energy participation, from an energy sustainability perspective. In this context, for many years TerrAria has been making its expertise in energy management available, supporting Public Administrations in the energy transformation process through energy action plans and specific measures financed by regional and national funds or incentives, with the aim of strengthening energy sustainability.
The energy management service focuses on the analysis of energy supply contracts and annual energy balances in order to plan energy efficiency measures or revisions of contractual arrangements. Key activities include energy assessments, energy audits and the energy certification of buildings, which are fundamental tools for improving energy efficiency and for achieving energy sustainability goals.
TerrAria assists Public Administrations in applying for incentives (regional calls, Fondazione Cariplo calls, Conto termico 2.0, Conto Termico 3.0) and provides technical-legal support, specifically for EPC (Energy Performance Contract), promoting investments oriented towards energy efficiency. It is currently carrying out feasibility studies for the establishment of REC and energy balances for distributed self-consumption for both Public Administrations and companies, with specific attention to impacts in terms of energy efficiency and emissions reduction.
The Energy Desk completes the framework: a support tool for municipalities designed to engage and raise awareness among citizens and local stakeholders on energy efficiency issues and available opportunities, and to encourage the adoption of more sustainable behaviours.
