ERGapp is a cloud-based service that supports the Energy Manager in all phases of the energy audit, in defining the model, identifying possible efficiency measures and monitoring them.
ERGapp was born from the many years of experience of the TerrAria srl team in the field of energy audit, diagnosis and certification with the technical coordination of a CEM (Certified Energy Manager).

Supports the energy manager in all phases of the energy audit in analyzing consumption, tuning/calibrating the energy model, and defining efficiency actions. There are performance benchmarking indexes and it is possible to download overall and detailed reports of the different sections of the audit. The user can model machinery utilization profiles and estimate specific consumption by area or production line. Multi-site management is simple and straightforward: the energy manager can analyze and compare energy performance between different locations, with the possibility of exporting a complete report, ready for delivery. ERGapp is a tool to support the preparation of comprehensive energy diagnoses that comply with Legislative Decree 102/2014. |

It is a module linked to the previous one and allows the quantification and verification of savings from implemented energy efficiency actions: it calculates the overall energy and economic savings and per intervention, monitoring whether the trend of savings and payback time are in line with those expected. The system also evaluates the synergy between multiple actions, estimates their payback time, and allows comparison of different scenarios, including the potential benefits of switching suppliers. |

It is connected to a pre-existing or proposed energy consumption monitoring system in conjunction with the software, through which real-time data can be viewed, alarm thresholds set, and KPIs benchmarked. Even in the absence of a pre-existing measurement network, ERGapp can be started up quickly by installing network analyzers that can be connected directly to the most energy-intensive electrical panels or machinery. The measured data are automatically sent to the platform via a gatelogger and Internet network. There are available, sensors for measuring: electrical consumption, natural gas consumption, temperature, quantity of parts… Once active, ERGapp provides a detailed view of the company’s energy balance, highlighting consumption by area or cost center. Consumption trends can be observed in real time and compared with standard conditions to identify abnormal deviations. The platform also makes it possible to monitor power quality, build performance indicators (EnPIs) and activate automatic alert systems when predefined thresholds are exceeded. |

The goal of ISO 50001 is to provide a systematic framework for organizations to continuously improve energy performance, reduce consumption, and thereby lower operating costs and greenhouse gas emissions. With ERGapp, companies can make their energy management system more efficient and transparent, accelerating the achievement of ISO 50001 goals and actively contributing to the transition to a more sustainable industrial model. By continuously tracking indicators and documenting corrective and preventive actions, ERGapp simplifies the work of the energy manager and makes audits more streamlined and effective.

In over ten years of operation, ERGapp has successfully supported the work of energy managers, technicians and consultants on the path to energy efficiency. The platform, which has been constantly updated over time to stay abreast of regulatory and technological developments, has already contributed to the monitoring of 25 sites, with the installation of more than 500 sensors, the realization of more than 10 specialized energy management consultancies and more than 50 energy diagnoses. Thanks to its contribution, 3 ISO 50001 certifications have been obtained, testifying to the robustness and effectiveness of the tool.
