\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Regional Information System Energy Environment TerrAria designed and developed the Lombardy Region’s energy efficiency portal, called SIRENA20 (Sistema Informativo Regionale Energia Ambienteregional information system energy environment), on behalf of Finlombarda spa, developed as part of the LIFE FACTOR 20 project, which also saw the participation of the Basilicata Region and Sicily Region, and the support of the companies Cestec SpA and Sviluppo Basilicata SpA.\u00a0 SIRENA20, an evolution of SiReNa, enables the definition of a set of tools to support the planning of regional and national policies for the reduction of greenhouse gases, the reduction of energy consumption and the diffusion of renewable energy sources.\u00a0 The following figure shows the conceptual scheme of FACTOR 20:\u00a0 The main steps are:\u00a0 Redefinition of the SIRENA platform, in the logic of a generalization both in terms of technology through the integration of the web application with the Cestec information system, and in terms of functionality, i.e., the possibility of building scenarios applicable applicability to regional areas other than Lombardy, starting from the two project areas Sicily and Basilicata;\u00a0 Reconstruction and traceability of the information and algorithmic flow underlying the construction of a regional energy-emission budget (and in its provincial and municipal declinations) that allows for agile annual updating of the budget and, above all, ensures transparency and replicability of the process;\u00a0 Presence of a decision support system to guide regional planning choices, through a contextualized choice (in terms of suitability and starting conditions of the territory on the one hand and economic constraints on the different sectors on the other) of the most efficient technologies by defining scenarios for improving energy efficiency, evaluating their costs and benefits (reduction of consumption, emissions and increase in production from renewable sources);\u00a0 The central role of the SIRENA-FACTOR20 system as a tool for deepening and integrating all CESTEC energy and other databases through an appropriate BI platform.\u00a0 Client: Energy Division Department of InfrastruttureInfrastructures Lombarde S.p.A.
